Take a gentle paddle along the Basingstoke Canal as it cuts it’s way through Surrey on its way to the Thames. Starting just out of Woking Centre at the Boundary Road Rec, you can put in from the slipway. With limited streetside parking but easy access to the water, either head East through West Byfleet towards canal’s end and onto the River Wey, or West back through Woking and onto St Johns.
