About

Climb the East Face of Mount Tryfan, perhaps the most dramatic mountain in Snowdonia. Climbs start from the heather terrace about half way up the mountain and from here offer old-school climbing, with long easy mountaineering routes, in a spectacular setting. The clean rock is almost always climbable, even in the wet. Long multi-pitch routes to 190 metres bring you out at the summit of the mountain for well earned views and a jump from Adam to Eve for the daring. Only climb here if you are a competent lead climber or going with a guide or group. Return via the North ridge or the West scree slopes.
