About

Walk the Purbeck Hills from Corfe Castle, a dramatic location set in the heart of the Purbeck Hills and dominated by the castle ruins. As well as the draw of the castle and the picturesque village, Corfe is also a fantastic place to walk. You can simply take the accessible path around the castle, or explore the village and Corfe Common. Better still, head along Hardy’s Way to Kimmeridge Bay and the Coastal Path, or take on the Purbeck Ridgeway to Swanage where you can (at certain times of the year) return by stream train. Managed by the National Trust, this site has excellent facilities. There is plenty of parking but on high days and holidays it’s best to use the park and ride at Norton.
