Paddle at Llyn Padarn, the highlight of the Llyn Padarn country park set in the very heart of Snowdonia by the bustling village of Llanberis. From the South end of the lake by the National Slate Museum there are excellent facilities and easy access to the water from a series of coves with small shingle beaches and a small pontoon. You can hire paddle boards on site and there is an excellent cafe, toilets and plenty of parking. Beginners can safely explore near to the banks and the more experienced can head out to explore this long and sometimes choppy mountain lake.
