Walk from the Royal Victoria Country Park, set on shore front with impressive views over Southampton Water. This historic site still has the chapel from the old military hospital, beautifully set in well-maintained parkland. From here you can simply explore the grounds or follow the coastal path either West past Netley to Southampton, or East to Hamble and beyond. The park has excellent facilities including cafes, kids play areas and a model railway.
