Walk at Llyn Crafnant, a stunning mountain lake in the heart of Snowdonia’s Gwydir Forest in the foothills of the Carneddau mountains. From the car park there is a lovely, waymarked trail that takes you along the bubbling stream up to the lake where you are met with terrific panoramic views. From here you can take a a lovely, easy going circular walk around the lake, stopping off at the lake-side tea room on the way around. There is also the option to do a longer walk up and over to Lake Geirionydd before the brave can have a swim before heading back.
