About

The Isle of Wight coastal path is a scenic and varied 70-mile route around the island. Culver and Bembridge Downs are a great place to start a walk, with their dramatic chalk cliffs and coastal views. If you’re following the coastal path, you can head West down to the bright lights of Shanklin Bay for a flat walk along the beach-side esplanade. Heading East takes you along a more rugged stretch of coast around the headland onto the pretty Bembridge Harbour and St Helen’s Duver. Or, you can also simply explore the downs, including the Yarborough Monument, Bembridge Fort and beyond down to the Brading Marshes Nature Reserve.
