Paddle the River Itchen from this beautiful, sheltered spot nestled at the end of Riverside Park. Put in below the weir to head down the river towards Southampton, note that this water is tidal so check the tides. Alternatively put in upstream of the weir and paddle as far as Mansbridge Bridge. There’s a cafe and paddle board shop next door and the Woodmill activity centre which specialises in watersports – they hire as well as offering tuition and guided paddles.
